Picnic Crowd debuted at Modern Times in 2019, being my first series of objects since completing my degree. This vessel has a textured matte surface and glossy interior. The hand-painted lines are a vivid red and loosely painted to move with the vessels curves, order to exaggerate the object's organic form.
This object was hand-built and fired in Naarm. Materials were sourced from Walker Ceramics.
